Sodium nitrite appears predominantly in red meat products (you won’t find it in chicken or fish products). Here’s a short list of food items to check carefully for sodium nitrite and monosodium glutamate (MSG), another dangerous additive:

As most of you know I have been talking about the preservatives used on deli meats for well over a decade now, even longer. And we discuss at  length in each and everyone of our Fusion Fat Loss & Nutrition “unique supermarket tours” which run twice a year, the dangers associated with consuming these so called meats regularly.

But here’s the take home message:

Yes I am a firm believer in that there are much better ways to eat to “nourish and not punish” the greatest machine ver built, you. For starters “mother natures pharmacy” all the wonderful plant based foods we should all be consuming at most meals is a great starting point.

But this is what I wish to share with you this time out:

We are told that most things we eat are likely to cause some hideous disease. Don’t eat this! Do eat this! Only eat this amount! Never eat this with that! Only eat red foods, don’t eat white foods! Need I go on?’

The real issue is this:

Most people simply don’t undertake the necessary lifestyle enhancing practices to improve their quality of life.

People are in a stuper over this latest report, (this information has been available for decades), yet rather than worrying about a single egg and bacon roll for breakfast once a week, stop to think about how sitting on your butt for 6-8 hours a day 5-6 days a week is affecting you!

Think about the fact that after sitting most of the day you come home and sit and play on some fancy tablet, phone, or computer for hours, or add to that watch the TV for hours.

Think about the fact that you know you should be investing in some regular exercise of your choice to enhance your health and wellbeing most days if not all days for a minimum 10-15 minutes, but you choose otherwise, something better is on offer.

The real issue is this:

The education and programs are not necessarily available to most people to get all the “fact from fiction”, and even if it is, most people simply bury their heads in the sand and say “it won’t happen to me”!

Long story short:

If you are exercising regularly, eating or refuelling with great quality foods close to it natural state with next to NO HI (human interference) a slice of bacon will not seal your fate!

But if you continue to sit on your butt all day, eat this man made lab constructed refined stuff, and use every excuse under the sun to avoid investing in exercise; be willing to pay the price!
